No frills, no bells and whistles - just swing! That's the music of Count Basie. His band was one of the most famous formations of its time. In honor of Sammy Nestico, the chief arranger of the Count Basie Orchestra, who would have celebrated his 101st birthday this year, the Frankfurt Radio Big Band pays tribute to these two Jazz Legends in a thrilling program full of verve and good humor.
